In response to a thread on foot.ie, the NLSA are going to raise the issue of a "singing section" for fans in Croke Park with the FAI.
We are trying to guage the interest of blockbookers who may not be part of the eL fan's scheme who would be interested in participating in this initiative.

I am a blockbooker who is not part of the el fan scheme - this is what I would like brought up at the meeting:
A designated singing section for vocal supporters - (maybe this and the el section could be housed beside each other?)
My proposal is that when the fai send us our forms for the qualifiers that we are given a choice to take our place in a singing section - maybe the fai could reserve a block or two to house this section
I understand that this may prove difficult in Lansdowne especially. Maybe it would be easier to arrange in Croke Park? None the less I think this is an important issue that I think is definitly worth persuing
Cheers Joe

I'm just back from Merrion Square and I raised the issue with the FAI. They didn't give any firm commitment but seemed broadly in favour. They said that the eL tickets would be in Canal Lower so the singing section would probably be in the same place.
